Default Safeway: Cellfire and Shortcuts coupons

Can someone explain these to me please?

I see that you can load these electronic coupons onto your card ...

Are these coupons valid for one shopping trip only or do they stay attached to your card until they expire?

Are they valid on more than one of the same item?

For instance, there is a .55/1 Trix cereal coupon available on both sites. If I load that coupon from both sites and buy 5 boxes of Trix, how are the coupons going to apply?

Also, you are able to use regular manufacturer's coupons as well, correct?

I see the Trix is one of the items for the 'buy 8, save 4' promo this week and I am trying to work out some shopping trips. Thanks.

Are they valid on more than one of the same item? You can only use them once on one item.

For instance, there is a .55/1 Trix cereal coupon available on both sites. If I load that coupon from both sites and buy 5 boxes of Trix, how are the coupons going to apply? Both coupons will come off the first box of Trix only, you will see 2 ecoupon deductions for 55c, you don't even need to buy 2 of them (unless coupon states so)

Also, you are able to use regular manufacturer's coupons as well, correct? Yes

There is also a situation where you can have more than one ecoupon on cellfire for the same product, they will both come off also. I have had a scenario where I bought 1 item, 2 cellfires came off it, 1 Shortcuts came off it, and I used a paper coupon, great moneymaker!

My experience has been the same as Tealover's. Say you only buy 1 box of Trix and have 1 Trix on Cellfire, 2 Trix on Shortcuts. All 3 will come off @ the time of purchase. Plus you can use the manfacturer coupon on top of that! I've gotten some awesome deals this way.

I was also forgetting you can load P&G eq's and yet another set of actual Safeway eq's from their direct coupon link(?) option on their website. Four sources of eq's!

I just signed up for Cellfire and Shortcuts ecoupons on the Safeway site, but I noticed in the FAQ for Cellfire it specifically says the you can't use a Cellfire ecoupon with another coupon, and that it won't work if you do try it. But it looks like several of you have been able to use more than one ecoupon. Is it just that they don't want to advertise the fact that it really does work, or what? Anybody know the real scoop? Thanks!

I don't remember seeing that when I signed up, I haven't ever had a problem so far so let's hope it doesn't change!
