Safeway - question about in-ad coupon

What is the deal with the in-ad coupons? Can those be combined with manufacturer coupons? In the ad I have there is a section that says Safeway Coupon... the number starts with zero, they do have a barcode.

Does anyone know if these are really club card discounts, or if they can be combined with a manufacturer coupon?

I usually shop at Harris Teeter but a new Safeway opened so I am checking it out. If the coupon policy is too iffy then it might not be worth it...

Yes, you can use a store and a MF together at Safeway. Now most of the store coupons say you have to have a minimum $10 purchase to use the store coupon....which isn't hard to do. lol

Same here. I have always been able to use the store coupons with MFG coupons, even electronic coupons too if you have them.
