Yes you can, and when you have both this usually makes for some good deals. Just make sure you meet any minimum purchase requirements that may be on the Safeway coupon.

I'm really glad you asked this question, because a few weeks ago, I was told that it wasn't allowed by a SAFEWAY employee. But, honestly, she didn't seem to be too knowledgeable anyway. I will try it today and see if they accept it.
