if you go to safeway before the 18th take advantage of their back to school sale and use their store coupons that came out in this sunday's paper combined with the manufactures coupons i found in the paper and online....

they had cheerios and nature valley granola bars safeway coupon buy 4 for $6 then i found manufacture coupons: $1 off cheerios when you buy 2 and 40 cents each of a box of nature valley plus buy four of these items and get 2.50 off your next shopping order.......
so end price was only$ 1.70

other great deals were: Kraft mac and cheese safeway coupon= 59 cents each (can only buy 1 though)

and fruit roll up snacks and gushers: buy 4 for $4 safeway coupon plus $1 off two so end price = $2
