My first deal after returning to couponing!!

I went to Safeway to get the "Buy 5 Save $5" deal. We haven't had soda in the house for awhile so I thought this would be a nice treat. While I was there I went back to the clearance rack and hit a pretty nice jackpot. I got the following:

14 boxes Eating Right Oatmeal - .79 each
1 box Tide Pure Essentials 63 loads - 2.99
2 bags of Chex Mix - .89 each
1 pack of Mom to Mom brand training pants - 4.49
2 6packs of Mt. Dew - 1.99 each
3 6 packs of Dr. Pepper - 1.99 each
Bananas - .75

If I would have had my coupons would have been better deal, but still spent $31.62 for what would have cost around $95. I am so happy, this is my first real stock up since taking a break from couponing last fall while I was going back to school.

Great job foggierbard9 - I stopped in today & grabbed the Tostitos chips (1.49 each wyb 5), 12pks soda (Hawaiian Punch, Mug root beer, canada dry & sunkist - 1.99 each wyb 5), and the 2L of Dr. Pepper & Mt Dew (.59 limit 4). Great timing, we are leaving for the Outer Banks on Sunday. Beats paying around 3 times that much down there. I was able to find a couple large containers of McCormick ground cinnamon on the clearance rack for 1.00 each.
