Genuardi's new double coupon policy

FYI, I went in last night and used 2 like coupons in the same transaction and they both fully doubled.

Most Safeway stores, nationwide don't double at all. In the Portland, OR area they issue a coupon once a week (most weeks) that allows you to "double" 4 coupons up to .50 each. I just consider it more of a $2 off coupon myself since it isn't a true doubler. They don't do any other routine doubling on the West Coast. The HQ is just outside of San Francisco and until I moved from there to Portland I never even knew there was such a concept as "doubling".
