.49 Kraft cheese!

The sunday insert had a super coupon for .99 kraft cheese- use the $1/2 printable and pay .49 each! i didn't see a limit on the cheese coupon but i did see the minimum purchase has gone up to $20 for super q's. does anyone know if you need to use multiples of the safeway q's for the cheese or will one coupon automatically deduct for all items?

You can only use 1 supercoupon per item per transaction. You can split up your transactions if you want to get multiples at the supercoupon price. Otherwise the second, third, etc. items will ring up at the sale price.

Actually, these are worded a bit differently:

This coupon must be presented at time of purchase.
Offer valid with ClubCard and coupon.
Limit one item per coupon.
Minimum $20 purchase qualifies you for all coupons,
Coupon cannot be doubled.


These say nothing about one per transaction. Only one item per coupon. I passed on the cheese today since my coupons were $1/2 and regular sale price on the non-coupon was $3.99. But now that I really read it, I think I could have used two super coupons and gotten two for $1.49ea and then used my $1/2 mf coupon.

My super coupon has a big yellow "LIMIT 1" on it. So if you use one super coupon and the $1/2 it comes out to $1.24 each.

Yeah, but the wording says "Limit one item per coupon". Not one item period, but per coupon. And nothing about per transaction. It's kind of moot for me, as I probably won't get back there before they expire. I usually only get out once a week, and I've done that already this week. lol

For me, would be $2.24 ea. My prices are higher than yours down there. $1.49 super coupon price, plus $3.99 regular price =$5.48- $1 MF coupon =$4.48 divided by 2=$2.24. So not a good deal unless I used two SC's. I would have to ask the CS desk first.
