Last month it was with chicken with a coupon for $4 off a 4# bag of ICQ chicken breast ~$3.96 if my math is correct, this month, $3 off extreme value ground beef. I totally cleaned up because I had a raincheck for the chicken, and the chicken was on sale this week. The ground beef had a 30% off peelie, and then the $3 mailer q, worked out to be ~$5 for 4.5 lbs of 90% ground beef.

last month, there were 4 or 5 free items, this month 3 free items - free Hamburger Helper, SW Sloppy Joe Mix, SW Salsa.

In Maryland, almost all grocery stores are taking competitor coupons and what I didn't buy at Safeway worked well at other stores.
