Has anyone in the NW done the Pledge cat deal?

I was reading about it in the main Safeway forum....where you buy 4 and get back a $5 cat, and then 4 individual $1 cats. Has anyone tried it?

I did it in SW Wa state (near Vancouver). Worked fine. I'd like to know if you can roll these though.

Did you get all $9 worth of cats? When did you do the deal?

I did get $9 worth (a five and four 1's), and it was on Tuesday evening.

I rolled them last night :) worked beautifully wish I had more computers to print the IPs!

I did this last night also. No problems! Got all $9, and am going again today if they have them still. My store's are running out! You'd think they would stock more of these things if they know they are having deals! oh well!

That is SO true. I had a manager say to me one time "How'd you DO THAT?" when cat after cat pumped out of the machine. I said "I'm just observant about all the informational catalina's that print out." I added that I wish the shelves would be tagged better, because when a deal doesn't work, and I'm the only one who knows about it, it can cause a mess. On that note, I try to keep the informational ones as "proof".

You shouldn't need any IPs if you roll them, I think. I used two IPs and two insert $1.25. I couldn't get anymore to print for some reason. Now, if I roll the $5 and use two more insert q's, it should be a great deal!

My store was out of pledge but I got the $5 with windex. Unfortunately I don't think it is on sale anymore so it might not be that great of a deal.
