Thanks for the great info ladies. I'm loving it! Just started w. HCW and live near the TV Hwy SW. Anyone know stores in the Hills/Beav area that do double coupons? Could not find this info on the SW site. :(

All of the SW stores in Oregon and SW Washington double coupons. The double coupon is found in every Wednesday Safeway ad...HTH!

I live in Crescent City, just below the Oregon border in California. We don't double q's here, does anyone know why? Is it a state wide thing, not allowed in CA? Or regional? Just wondering the reason why. TIA

I don't know if you have already mentioned this, but I was told "of the same coupon" my arguement was that the coupons are not the same if you read the number usually found in the upper right hand corner. This is what distiguishes them from not being "photo copied" and the ones that are only one per transaction state those words on them. I have had some cashiers okay this and others say no its the same IP. YMMV Its definately regional and per cashier.

I don't know why they do that but it would be interesting to know why it is chosen at some stores and not others. It is very frustrating that the rules are different from one area to the next. For me it makes it extremly difficult to play by the rules because I feel like they are messing with us as consumers.

I have deffinatley learned that the minute you have to explain what you are doing, you are in trouble. They won't understand, and they really don't care weather or not you play by the rules. If it makes them think too hard, your not going to get the deal. I am trying to learn this, so I can feed my family, and do it well, and well within the budget my husband gives me. I am a stay at home mom by choice, and not on food stamps. This really dosen't cost the stores any profit, so why do they give so much attitude about it sometimes?
On a more positive note, I filled my new (to me), upright freezer to the brim with the safewaye frozen foods deal last week, and thanks to you all for helping me learn how to do that! You all rock!!!! Power to the people!! Bertolli, Freschetta, Gortons, and Totino's Oh My!!!! =]
