FREE Marshmallows and cheap Rice Krispies

At my Safeway, the Rice Krispies have peelies on them for $1 off ANY marshmallows. The RK are on sale for 2.29, plus they are on the Buy5 Save $5 deal, plus the Safeway brand marshmallows are 10/$10.

5 Rice Krispies @ 2.29 = 11.45
5 SW marshmallows @ 1.00 = 16.45
- $5 off 5 = 11.45
- $1 Kellogg's Q (11-09 RP) = 6.45
- $1 FREE marshmallows peelie = 1.45 OOP

I think I'll be making lots of Rice Krispie treats LOL!

If you are using 5 of the $1/1 Kellogg's AND 5 of the $1 off marshmallows WYB Rice Krispies, then the last 5 coupons will beep and have to be pushed through since the register will see that there are 10 Kellogg's coupons being used on 5 boxes of cereal.

Not necessarily--it depends on how it is coded. If anyone tries this please report back about possible beepage.

Both coupons are coded to work on Kellogg's. I just wanted y'all to know that there would more than likely be some beeping.

I did this deal at KMart during the double q week. The marshmallow coupons went through, but the cereal coupons beeped. They pushed the cereal coupons through. I will probably try it at Safeway tomorrow, and I will update if they beep there as well (unless someone posts about it first!).

The marshmallow Qs are peelies found on Rice Krispies and possibly other Kellogg's. They do beep if you try to use both. I explained that one was off the marshmallows and one was off the cereal and my cashier pushed it through. YMMV. I won't be doing that again. (I hate beepage)

I went last night and did this deal fine. Today, I tried it again, but was denied the marshmallow coupon. The checker said that the 1 off applied to both the marshmallows and the rice krispies, not the marshmallows alone. And since I already had a coupon for the Rice Krisipies, I would have to go get another box.

It says save a 1.00 off of any brand marshmallows when you buy rice krispies. What do you guys think?
