FREE gas???

I was reading the ad that just came out, and it says for every $100 that you spend, you get a .10c/gal credit. They've always had that, but what got me, is it's stackable!!! So if you get 5 of these and stack them, when you go to get gas, you'll get .50c/gal off EACH gal...

Does anyone know if it counts before or after coupons???

I'm going to be getting TONS of coke when I get my free q's from the coke rewards site, I'm curious how it's counted.

I am almost certain its after q's because I have been in twice this week (due to a $10/50 coupon for a reopening) and both times my totals were $50-70 before q's and $30 after and I just got the first .10 reward. I should be up to .20 by now if it was subtotal only.

I have $62.03 in credit towards the gas discount, and I only spent a few cents on the orders that earned it - so in my experience, it's counting the total before coupons. Maybe different registers are calculating it differently? How awesome if this will stack!!

I was just in today, and at the bottom of the receipt it states that there is a limit of ONE gas credit per transaction, so no, they're not stackable to get $0.50 or whatever off the price per gallon.

This is what my flyer states:
1) Every time that you accumulate $100 in Eligible purchases you get a $.10 reward.
2) Every time that you fill two perscriptions you get a $.10 reward
3) Every time you buy $100 in eligible gift cards you get a $.10 reward

The rewards stack up on your card until you choose when to use... just imagine saving $.30, $.40, $.50 cents or more... per gallon... up to FREE GAS or $100

My total balance on that trip was 50.77 after coupons. I only earned $39.73 towards a reward. All I can figure is that some of my purchases weren't "eligible purchases" It also says that accumulation ends 9-30-08 and that they have to be redeemed by that time.

Incidentally, how does one redeam the rewards once we get them? Do you swipe your card at the pump when you pay?

Each time you do one of these things you earn a .10 reward. When you pay at the pump it will take .10 off each time... it doesn't stack.. you can earn 10 .10 rewards and would have to get gas 10 times to use them all.

Is the store gift card one of the eligible cards?
I was thinking I could buy 4 -$100.00 gift cards one card per week and save 10c per gallon per week. I know I am going to spend $100.00 every week in the store. Will this work. Can you use the gift card you buy to pay for gas?

I'm certain they DO stack...
My paper has FAQ's on the other side:

Can I store up rewards?
YES, but rewards may ONLY be applied up to the current price of gas at the time of redemption.

What happens if I have more rewards than the price of gas?
The remaining reward is forfeited. For example: if you have $3 worth of rewards on your card and the price of fuel is $2.90, you won't pay for your fuel, but the remaining .10/gal won't be refunded and cannot be used at a later time.

I'm sure that store coupons don't count, I was referring to the mfr q's, which I'm sure do count, as they are like cash.

So in all, the rewards ARE stackable, you CAN earn free gas. Store sales and coupons DON'T count towards your accumulated totals. MFR coupons DO count towards your totals.
