went today to try the blueberry shredded wheat coupons form all you, they of course were not marked cheaper than 4.99 a box so oh well, still holding onto those~

Y'all are lucky! We don't get a doubler up north. I WISH we did - it would be sooooooo nice. Instead, I'm forced to face Albies all on my lonesome.

Great morning at Safeway. We went through check out 5 times, 3 for me 2 for dh. I told the one checker: "I'm going home now, so I won't bother you any more. She said that I didn't bother her, that she was proud of me. She told my dh that if she were retired she would do this too, but it is too much work for her now.

Great deals, best one was 6 boxes of Taco shells and 3 taco seasonings for 43 cents. Peelies on the taco shells made the seasonings free. $1/2MFG coupons on the Ortega products, then the $5 off when you buy 5. Whoo hoo! I spent $42.43 saved $134.92 May go back tomorrow for a few things. Silly me didn't see the Safeway Tava coupon, but I only bought one. Since it will be free I'll see if I can get another coupon. DH asked a couple of times: Now why are we doing several checkouts? I'd have to explain it again. He is getting good at just following directions and trusting me beacuse it is so confusing. I'll check back here later to see if any of you have found some great deals I missed.

Oops that should say Taco stuff for $1. The 43 cents was on something else after using the Nature Valley RR.

I asked about the missing coupons and was told it was also a error. I asked the manager if he would double my coupons anyway and he would not. I figured why not ask, I have been a loyal shopper at Safeway for along time. When he told me no, I told him I would go across the street and buy my items at Fred Meyers. He still said no, so I left. So much for being a loyal cutomer.

WOW WOW That is crazy mine would have jumped not to lose me at their store ..I really would never shop there again but that is me
