Deals in Seattle?

Hi,

I am a newbie to couponing and I am wondering if there are any good deals in the Seattle area that I am missing. I hear people talking about doubling coupons all the time, but there aren't any stores in the Seattle area that do this. In fact, I believe only the ones close to Oregon do this(and they only do it because Oregon does and they want to be competetive). I am getting coupons from the Sunday paper, online, and from grocery store websites. But I'm still not saving as much as other people are. I typically save about 15-35% off my grocery bill, and I think I could be doing better. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Albertsons has been doubling coupons, but it looks like there are changes coming there. Safeway sometimes has really good deals so stay tuned. A lot of times they involve combining a sale price/promo deal with coupons and a Catalina deal as well so if you find any Catalinas, please post them! Many heads are far better at finding deals than one.

Uh oh. Are they going to stop doubling?

Meanwhile look in the Sunday paper for the doubler coupons. You'll get three when they are there. Also check with the store. They may have extra copies of the ad but you can only use three at a time. They were in there this past Sunday. Not sure if they will be this coming weekend because it is a coming up on a holiday.
