Memo Trade Chains in the trades current coupons & offers forum

Trade chains are very popular at Hotcouponworld. Rightly so since they originated here

.

We will regularly have these posted in the Trades Current Coupons & Offers Forum.

We would only like one chain up at a time, and for them to be run by the trading moderators and trading coaches.

If you are a veteran trader and would like to run a train chain, please send me a private message and we will work out the details.

What is a trade chain? I'm an 'oldie' with a question-been here since day 1 and I don't know what it is.

Trade chains are where one person starts the chain and each person that replies is responsible for sending an envie to either the person above or below them based on the chain instructions. Depending on who runs them, it is different.

these are something we run for TNT's in the TNT forum & we have run them in trades @ holidays.
Since Jan 1st there have been 1, 1 with jennspen & one with tacatcon :)

The TNT ones usually start with me posting and the person below me sends me their addy. The person below them sends them their addy & so on. They are potluck. The chain starts with me sending (not receiving) and I close it out by being the last poster/recipient to close the chain.

The ones we have run in trades so far have been holiday related and the OP puts up a list of needs for their holiday party or meal etc. The person who replies must have X # of things on the list of the person above them. If they do, they reply and mail a potluck plus the things they have from their holiday wishlist to the person they replied to. In their reply they also post a list of things they are ISO & it repeats.
