Re: Can someone explain PayPal? Hi
If you need to send money, you will need the other persons email address that is associated with their pp account, that's how the money comes out of your paypal and into theirs.
If you have your checking acct linked to your paypal, then yes if your acct balance is zero, the $ will transfer directly from your checking account. You usually have to also have a back up source of a credit card in case there is not enough $ in your checking acct.
Just note though that this is different than an e-check. When people say "available funds" they mean the $ is coming out through your paypal account and not an e-check payment or a credit card payment.
As long as you linked your checking account you should be fine. Did i totally confuse you?

What I'm not getting is how does someone send me money? I know it pops into my PP account but how? I mean if someone needs to pay me what do I give them so it can pop into my account?
And if I need to pay someone but have $0.00 in my PP account will it just automatically come out of my bank account? And if it does just come out of my bank account then why would I ever need to transfer money into my PP account? |
