Well, I have a thread elsewehere on this site where I lamblasted pm's as the way almost 100% of traders use here, when I was use to 100% of trades being by e-mail for years. I was struggling to adjust, since I can not sit at work with my HCW webpage open. I can keep my Outlook Express open for e-mails. However, with PM, I do get the message in my OE and can read it, but to respond the steps are: click on the link, answer whether I want the message opened in a new window, open the message, read, click reply, send, close HCW and wait on the reply and if I get one repeat the process. And other's must not sit on HCW either because many of my PM messege trades take 10+ PM's and DAYS......and I was bombarded with replies that PM were the quickest and easiest.

Any way back to my trade. This is not a bad trade since nothing was sent, but it seems strange that I get all their messages wondering why I'm not answering (when I am) but they do not get mine. Maybe they are afraid to say no. The issue was they answered my (iso) ad and said they had X coupon and Y coupon and wanted stamps. They would never tell me how many coupons of each they had and what trade value per coupon. I asked about 4 times over 6 days. I've abandoned it. My sale will be over or my store shut down. It has been over a week and I have to blame PM in this case for the slowness.
I'm sure they check their e-mail and if an e-mail is not received or not delivered the sender will get a message back to that affect.

I've not had a bad trade on this site which is great. This was a trade in the works so never happened.

I've noticed there is a problem with PM notification via emails. I've already reported it since I'm getting PM notice for 9/24 messages that I've already received and responded to. For whatever reasons, I hope this glitch is fixed. I now look at the date when I get a PM notice and if its weeks ago, I just delete asap.

With non responding traders, I think its the other trader that choose to ignore if it has been several PMs. I just move on and get the msg they don't want to trade. I still feel safer and comfortable to trade within HCW knowing that when there's a problem with the trade, I can always turn to the mods. Whereas, if I do it via emails, I'm SOL when the other trader ignores me after receiving their end and I don't get mine.

QOTH and HCM know there is an issue with the email notifications of PM's. that is something that is being worked on but all your PMs should still be in your inbox.

However if you are concerned that your PMs you are sending are not being received, first check your sent folder and make sure they are there. If so and you know the other person didn't receive please use the "report problems here" thread to let them know so they can look into it.
