I noted in the FAQ that Rite Aid accepts man. coupons, and I have used them without problems in the past few weeks.

On Thursday, I was shopping for the P&G products deal, and bought a lot of shampoo with 1 man. Q per item. As I was checking out, the cash registrar indicated (as I kept handing her one by one the man. Q's) that if I kept going she would not be able to accept them..that it was supposed to be 1 Q per purchase. I mentioned what someone else suggested that each of the items was a purchase, but she said she could get in trouble by allowing more than one. :frown: The cashier indicated that she got in trouble when she allowed a lot of coupons for another woman who purchased about $60 worth of merchandise and only paid $2-3. Well, luckily my OOP was $13 so she allowed all of them. My question is this: Is it YMMV on a store by store basis to disallow coupons when the total OOP is small? Do you think this could be a result of the incident at CVS, or just a more general awareness that some customers are coupon savvy and the stores may start cracking down? TIA for your guidance.

It is simply a poor training/ misunderstanding of how to accept coupons. The YMMV part is wheter the cashier knows what they are doing or not. One coupon per item is allowed, and should be universally. It is no different than if you bought 15 shampoos on 15 seperate trips or all at once.

I want to help get some stuff for my parents through the RA SCR program. Ive never done it myself either. My question is... If I purchase items in NJ and submit my rebate with my name and address, I will get back my check no problem. If I purchase the same items in NJ BUT on a separate Purchase, can I submit a NEW SCR but put everything in my parents' name and give their address (they are in NY)?

Technically its an entirely separate transaction. Almost nothing to do with each other. If my mom came into my NJ store and rang up right behind me then went home to NY and submitted her rebate it would be the same thing. I am just doing all the leg work for them.

Would this work?

Yes it will work. I have a SCR account for my address and manage a SCR account for my FIL address in another state. I submit receipts for his account for items purchased at my local store. I have also bought items while visiting him and submitted them for my scr account.

I'm haven't shopped at Rite Aid in a while. One time I filled out the form online and never got anything. Was I supposed to go back to verify in order for them to send my check?

I didn't see any answer for the limit 1 questions. But most places that means 1 rebate per item not person. HTH

It's not unusual at all. I think there was 10-11 days between when they told me mine was mailed and when I actually got it.
I would wait for a full two weeks from the date they give you online. If you still don't have it, then go to the contact us link and shoot off an email.
I don't think there is anything you can do. You request the check, they take their time approving it and then mailing it. Just the way it goes. HTH
