RITE AID: November 8 - 15 *FREE/MM herbal essences*

The sales started in California yesterday so I went to go get the Oral B toothbrush, GE bulbs and shampoo.

Just wanted to alert everyone about an issue with the toothbrush: After I bought all my items I thought my OOP was high and when I checked my receipt I noticed the toothbrush rang up for $4.99 and not $2.99 like the ad says. I went back to the cashier and she was going to just price adjust it but I worried I would have an issue with the SCR.
So we went to the shelf: there are 4 "crossaction" toothbrushes with the numbers 52, 53 (soft), 54 and 55(medium). These numbers appear in the top left portion of the hanger for the toothbrush.
My initial purchase was of #53 which rang up at $4.99. When the cashier rang up #52 it rang up at $2.99 so we returned my first toothbrush and I bought #52 and submitted it for the SCR.

I don't know which number is working for the medium brushes but if you buy the soft bristle ones only buy #52.

so if i wanna do the herbal ess deal i would have to get one shampoo, one conditioner and two stylers and they would be all free with using the coupon that says buy one sha/or cond get a styler free? i am so confused:hectic1:

you buy one shampoo OR you buy one conditioner AND one styler
use the coupon you mentioned above and both will be free

SCR limit: 1
Total/Math: 2.99 - 2 q - 2.99 scr = 2.00 moneymaker

I'll feel kind of lame going to RA to buy a sole toothbrush. Maybe I'll find some good clearance? I'm outta BOGO HE qs from last month. :shrug7:

Don't feel lame! I've gone to Rite Aid to buy just one or two things.

I don't mean to be rude or anything... But... Doesn't that add up to $10 oop including the filler cost? instead of the $3.97? :shrug7:

= 2.99 x3 = 8.97 + $1.03 filler = 10.00 (minimum) = $25 (or more) -$5/25 q=

$3.97 out of pocket ( + filler cost) for $23.97 credit toward the $100 needed to get $30 back from L'Oreal.

the math is correct. 3.97 OOP plus the cost of filler, the filler must be a retail of at least 1.03 so together that comes to $5 OOP but you could possibly find a filler that has a coupon making it less....... I think you missed the deduction of the $5 off $25 purchase coupon.

One question- what about the pricing of the herbal essences? Will I just have to make sure all my stylers are more than the shamppos since the coupon is specifically for the stylers and riteaid will give the lesser priced item free?

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but it doesn't matter if the stylers are more than the shampoo. RA has to follow the wording on the coupon and do as the manufacturer states for the coupon to be reimbursed. So, since the coupon says the styler is free, then RA will give the styler free, regardless of price.
