Default Re: RITE AID: Sept 13-19 FREE/OVERAGE COVERGIRL! GOS starts this week so start saving every single receipt!

If any of you have a Publix nearby, check for those $3/2 J & J blinkies. They're back (at least in my store, and others have reported seeing them, too).

I did this today.
10 J & J baby products
5 $3/2 blinkies
Paid $15ish OOP
Will get a $15 SCR.

The last official word I saw here was that these blinkies were ok to use on these products since the wording says "any two J & J products." If it's been updated and I missed it, please have mercy on my soul, mods, and know it's an honest mistake and I'm not suggesting anyone do anything unethical. There was a stickied post around here that gave the go ahead with these blinkies.

And forgive me, also, if I've missed a post on this thread that has basically already covered the same thing and I missed it.

Yay for baby shampoo. It's great for washing dog faces.

Nice coupon! I found a few $1/1 Peeiles on the items that were part of the sale, long expiration too. They had a lot of packs with a free small bottle of J&J with the 15oz ones- bonus!

Oh ya! They had hair wraps for drying your hair (kwim?) on clearance for $1 down from $2. Got two as filler, not bad!

What Covergirl products are you all getting by using the BOGO coupons?

I had quite a time finding 2 products that cost the same, one of which was a foundation and the other ended up being a blush.

Or, will it also work if you use 2 coupons at once, buying 2 foundations that are the same price, and two face products that are the same price?

Seems like if the foundations are more, the coupon and the sale are going to want to make the face product the free product.

Default riteaid- covergirl makeup

Speaking of Rite-Aid, I JUST started shopping there. I don't want to wait until next week, so I'm doing this deal today.

Covergirl Makeup is BOGO, so I'm getting two items that are exactly the same price and that also match the BOGO coupon that was in this month's P&G. I'll get those two items free. I'm doing this mainly so I can use a 5/25 or 5/20 that I have for Rite-Aid.

Then, I'm getting diapers--I'm unsure of how much they are there, but let's say 12.99.

12.99 - $5/25 coupon, - $2 Rite Aid Huggies Coupon (from watching videos), -$3 home mailer Huggies coupon.

Final price, 2.99 for diapers--less if there's a cheaper pack.

I'll also have more money "spent" to get the gift of savings rebate, which will be $5-$20, depending on how much I spend.

I wish that CVS would start having deals again! I was forced to check out Rite Aid! I hope I'm never pressed into going to Walgreens. I have heard too many horror stories.

ETA: I meant to post this on the Any Diaper Deals this week thread!

good luck on the cover girl deal, I get shot down 9 out of 10 times using bogo q's on a bogo sale at Rite Aid. I don't even bother wasting my time anymore. The Rite Aids around here are horrible IMO.

Foundations do count as face products, so you can just buy two of the same item. Also, the Trublend Microminerals (the one that's a loose powder in a tube with the brush -- costs 12.99) comes in foundation, blush, bronzer, and transluscent so you could mix it up that way if you prefer.

The BOGO q doesn't actually say that the free item has to be of equal or lesser value, and at my store they haven't given me any trouble about it.

No, the Q does not say that, but in my experience--the register automatically deducted the lower amount item instead of the higher one.

I went two days in a row and had no problems at Rite-Aid. The first time, the cashier had to enter in the price of the coupon. The second time, the assistant manager handled four separate transactions for me and he was super nice. He thought the computer was telling him he could only put in the coupons for half price. I told him it worked for full-price the day before and he manually put it in.

All in all, I used 6 BOGO coupons for the BOGO deal.
