I did this yesterday. They ended up being $.10 a bag because the max value on the tearpads is $2.29, and the price at RA is $2.49. Still an awesome deal. I loaded up for our church food pantry!

Didn't see this listed either:

Pampers wipes
Sale: 2.99
Use: $1/1 home mailer for SWIPERS
SCR: $1.00
Total:99cents Good deal if you need wipes!

It was gone from the shelf but I found it on the side of an end cap at the back with a display of Crest items.

Anyone thinking about doing this deal should really consider the pros and cons. It certainly is a very rewarding deal, but it isn't as easy to hide as the BeFine deal a month or so ago. IMO it is unlikely that a large percentage of people would get away with it. And when the manager or cashier catches it, you will be remembered. You aren't technically doing anything wrong, but I am sure the store manager will view it is being extremely shady. Once you are remembered for a questionable (in their mind) deal, all of your transactions with that manager/cashier will be scrutinized. If that happens, you can kiss the smaller BeFine type deals goodbye.
I hear ya Poker. I too...was tempted to do this deal but I don't have the guts & don't want to get "Busted" and look like a crook. Not worth it IMO. But...I give props to the one who had the balls to try it! Good for You.

Well I tried the $35 overage today and it didn't work. The coupon beeped and said that the coupon amount over price. So if I wanted the meter, the register (all by its self) made the metter $75 and the coupon $75 off.
