I have not tried to use both in-ad coupons with manufacturer coupons, but don't think it will work at the store on Pines Road in Shreveport. I tried to use (4) .50/1 coupons on (4) boxes of bandaids last week and was told the only way I could use them was to do (4) seperate transactions. When I questioned this , the cashier called the manager who told me that there was a limit of 1 coupon per transaction. ( I ask her if she was referring to like coupons and she said ONE coupon period) She went on to tell me of a cashier who got fired for taking more than one coupon per transaction and another who was docked a weeks pay ( didn't think that was legal). I told her that other stores were accepting more than one coupon and she said that they were not suspose to and would get in trouble when "security checks those transactions"). She said it makes her store look bad because they follow the rules, so they do seperate transactions so the customer can use more than one coupon. So I did it her way and paid 58 cents 3 times with my debit card since I only had 60 cents on me. I have been couponing at Rite-Aid almost a year now and have never encountered this before even at this same store. Does anyone know anything about this rule. This just really blew my mind!
