How long should it take???

I have a receipt that I entered on June 16, and it is STILL sitting there with this status message:

"Note: Your rebate purchases will usually be confirmed within 2-5 days.
You will be notified via email as soon as your purchase information is received from the store."

How long should I wait before calling cs? Other receipts have been entered and cleared since then.

Is it the store that holds it up? Or what?

I would go ahead and call them. I had that problem and when I called I read them my receipt and they reinput it for me.

I just called about a rebate and they said you have to wait 10 days. I waited 8. They said to call back after 10 days... :-(

I never have had this problem before. I always wait until the rebate is posted and cleared before I use my products so this is killing me that I can't use the sunscreen that I bought...

I am having the same problem. My purchases were on the 18th, I submitted on the 20th, and I still get the message that they're waiting for data from the store. I called them one day last week and was told to wait 10 days. I called them again today, since today is day #10...and was told to allow 10 full days....if I don't receive credit by the end of today, I should call them tomorrow

I'm almost willing to bet that I'll end up having to call them. I'm getting ready to move and the items from that receipt (3 of them) are already packed in boxes (I know...I know...I should've known better!)

Seems RA is having problems lately. Last month I had to call them cuz they said I didn't purchase the correct items...so I had to fax them over a copy of my receipt w/UPC #'s written on it.

I used to love doing RA rebates, but now I cross my fingers every time I do them hoping I won't have any problems this time. What a pain!

I'm still waiting on one from the 22. I didn't know about the 10 rule. I'[ll have to give them a push in a couple of days.

Well I was going to call them today, but lo and behold it was updated today and now it says receipt does not match any of our records.....grrr.

I bought a ton of stuff for rebate on that receipt. No, I haven't opened any of it yet, but it would be a pain to return it.

I guess I'm going to have to call now.

Interesting thing is, that was a different Rite-Aid than I usually go to. I wonder if the particular store has anything to do with how smoothly the rebate submission goes?

I called today about a receipt from the 23rd. They told me 10 days but she was telling me everything on the receipt itself. Does that mean they have to update the site? I don't understand.

First I would try to re-enter it. In my case, the receipts go through in 2 days. If I wait more than 2 days to enter a receipt the rebate shows up immediatly because it is in the system. I have only had issues with this twice. 1st time the item was listed wrong or something, but I called gave UPC# and it was manually pushed through. 2nd time I had mis typed a number and once I re-entered it correctly it showed up immediatly and I was able to request my check.

If all that dosen't work I would call again, ask to speak to a higher up if you have too.. Once I had to call corp. even because an item listed in rebate book was not counting towards a purchase x and get y. She took care of the issue in 10 sec. flat.. I'm sure she had better things to do at her level than deal with a rebate mistake, but whatever, it worked!
