If you get a Rain check and the item comes in AFTER the SCR period......here is a helpful number, you CAN still get the rebate!

In terms of items being OOS, the Olay was a real mess for them last week and it is an issue where they either grossly underordered terribly or their main suppliers dropped the ball because they didn't even have any in the warehouses!!!!! brillant! All these years I have been faxing the receipts in!! And that stinks sometimes, because they take weeks to acknowledge it. I am patient...but this solves this problem!

Can the mod add this helpful tip to the riteaid 101 thread somewhere in the top so that newbies can learn this tip?

I have a great manager at my RA. He has the clerks write out the raincheck with FAR, and when it comes in he will ring it through. I love not having to deal with entering the receipt or making extra calls. I have never had a problem with one of my rainchecks even when he is not there. Now the rebates I faxed in because they didn't show up when I entered my receipts is a different story. Still waiting for them to verify.

If you use a raincheck that was for something good only for a certain date. You have to make sure it says raincheck on your receipt,fax it to the following toll free number 1-800-457-2243 ATTN: Riteaid Special Services I include my name,adr.phone,month,item #and rebate amount. And write on the paper you tape the receipt to"Please resubmit due to a raincheck". I have done this a number of times over the many years I have submitted rebates to riteaid. I even gave the info. to store managers to tell customers. I usually call the number also on the back of the rebate form and tell them I'v just faxed it over. You might have to wait a week to see it posted on the computer. If you don't, recall the # on the back of the rebate booklet and tell them. I mark on the bottom of the sheet date/time faxed.
