the flash just lifts up (manually) if I need it.....I can push it down when I don't........I did that......I did NOT know the autofocus was pushing the button halfway down........I think I DO have that........
I know on the auto option.......everything is preset and it would NOT let me adjust my exposure which I had to do. And your right......the nighttime was BLURRY......which now you explain it, that makes sense.

The ads are printed on a glossy paper. Whenever the flash is used inside, there is a shadow on the paper. With daylight, the flash isn't used or the flash time is shortened so the pictures come out.
