(1) Eye Shadow: $5.19

New Total: $4.09

Then I give the cashier (3) $1/1 Q's and it deducts $3.00

New Total: $1.09

In order to make the most of this you would need to buy "sets" of (4) items, (1) item needs to be blush and you need the B3G1 blush Q - how you work it from there is up to you!

Will they count the free blush as one of the items that you buy to get one free?

Short answer, yes, initially.

The ad says "Buy one get one free of equal or lesser value" - so if you bought 2 items, the cheapest 1 would be free, if you bought 4 items, the cheapest 2 would be free, etc. It really all depends on the price of your other items as opposed to the price of the blush.

Think of this as 2 steps:
Step 1) is the sale of Buy One Get One Free
Step 2) is you have a B3G1 Blush Q

Is there a trick to how you hand them the coupons?

Not in the scenarios I mentioned above. If the other products that you buy are more expensive then the blush, then techincally the register will deduct the blush as free and the Q might beep. I would suggest doing this with "cheaper" items to skip that step and also have a lower OOP.

Will the cashiers argue about this?

After what they went through last week, this should be a piece of cake!! If they argue then offer them a free soda

You can only do this deal ONCE for the month. If you did it last week then you will NOT get the GC again.

The $20 GC that you would receive for this promotion is like your regular RA SCR's - you buy everything OOP and then submit your receipts online. Once they have verified that you've purchased the minimum required amount, you will see a line that says:

83 - P&G P&G $20 Rite Aid Gift Card Yes

When you request your May SCR check you will then also receive your $20
GC.

another thing to remember is this.........I know you all are sick of hearing this.......but PLEASE remember this when calculating to reach the required dollar amount for the SCR......

RULE: HOW it originally rings on your receipts is what will be counted toward your SCR (NOT COUNTING COUPONS--coupons are NOT subtracted).........
B1G1 COUPON=retail price of product IS counted toward SCR
B1G1 RITE AID SALE=one will ring at X.XX (this amount is counted toward SCR), but remember the other one rings at 0.00 (so 0.00 will count toward SCR)

This above is true unless your register rings half INSTEAD of a true BOGO.......THEN
it would ring X.XX and X.XX in that case both half off amount WOULD count toward the SCR.........
