What is the new rumored policy? I haven't heard about it.
Here is the new policy.
The 2 changes of great importance are:
- Limit 4 like coupons per transaction
- No BOGO qs on BOGO sales, and only one coupon is allowed per pair of BOGO items (i.e., you can use only ONE $1/1 q when buying a pair of BOGO items)
If you wish to comment to RA about this, here is their Facebook page and their corporate contact us page.
I know that this changes are less than ideal. However, we do need to follow them as best as we can.
What is the new rumored policy? I haven't heard about it.
"Enthusiastically embracing voluntary simplicity & moderate minimalism"
The 2 proposed changes I have heard about are officially limiting to 4 like coupons per transaction and no longer allowing a BOGO q on a BOGO sale. The first part I'm okay with, but the second, I am not.
Policy is confirmed:

Thanks PGF for posting this. Added to OP. Already said something on fb because this goes against the wording on the coupons themselves.
I just left them a comment on FB. I hope that everyone else that shops RA takes a minute to do the same :)

There's a few things on there I don't agree with. I love RA, kinda a bummer.
Well, that puts a damper on my plans. :( The joint juice is B1G1 AND I have coupons for $2 off 1. I put in a pre order for 10 6 packs, and told the manager my plan with coupons, to split it into 2 transactions.
Buy 6. Total after B1G1 would be $15. I would use my 3/15 coupon, then it would be $12. Then I would use 6 of the $2 coupons. I might need a filler. Then buy 6 Total after B1G1 would be $15. Use 3/15 coupon, making it $12. Then use 5 $2 coupons, and a $1 coupon making it $1. Everything plus tax ofcourse. She said nothing about it.
I hope this new coupon policy doesn't stick. :( It would really put a damper on my future shopping plans. :(
I'm suppose to be doing this tomorrow, so I'll let yall know how it goes!
The thing I do not like is Rite-Aid changing its policy on a dime and not giving people fair warning.

Rite - Aid - I'm staying.
Been shopping at Rite-Aid a long time.Back when all was offered was a SCR maybe once or twice a month and was tickled pink to get something free(And if I had a 1.00 coupon I made out like a bandit).
Plus a 20% discount on milk 2.95 at Rite Aid 3.69 or up everywhere else.
Yep,I'm staying.
Good thing, is that it will shut down the one person who I see clear the shelves every sunday morning. Then I goto the flea market, and there they are selling stuff.
