Finally GOOD news from RA District manager about VV coupons!

I have been going round and round with the district manager in my area about the video values coupons for nearly a month now....she was claiming that they could NOT be used in addition to a regular manufacturers coupon. After a boatload of emails back and forth with her (after a HORRIBLE experience at one of her stores), she FINALLY emails me today and said the corporate VP of marketing said that YES they are considered Rite Aid coupons.....she thanked me for my patience and told me to gather my coupons and get to shopping! LOL
I am thrilled this email finally came because I have had nothing but issues with one store manager of hers over coupons. I am DEFINITELY printing this email and putting it in my binder for future reference!
Today is a BEAUTIFUL day!!!!!! Just had to share this!

I actually got tired of waiting for her email and I emailed them from the "contact us" section of the Rite Aid site and today I got an email from them also, stating the same thing....if I were you, I would email them so you have that to print off and take with you! I printed both the one from the DM and the customer service! I am PREPARED for them now!

i emailed thru the contact us nearly two weeks ago and have not heard anything...

I'm so lucky my rite aid's are super great about coupons. Wags is horrible and cvs is ok but Rite Aid is awesome.

I wish all the drug stores were the same with how accepting they are of coupons.
My 1 and ONLY CVS is great with coupons, but there are shelf clearers so no way to get good deals.
My 2 Rite aids are good with coupons (now if i could just get my drn SCR's to clear!)
My 1 Wags is not to friendly. If there is a good Free after RR they WONT give a raincheck and 9 times out of 10 they are out of the good stuff...and then don't forget they told me it was FRAUD to get overage on coupons...and that if i use a coupon i wont get an RR. Go figure.....

YES...directly from the District Manager in my area....she sent the question directly to the VP of marketing and it is One VV coupon and one regular Manufacturers coupon PER item!
She states (FINALLY) that the VV coupons ARE manufacturers coupons paid by the manufacturer BUT they are considered Rite Aid Q's because they are coded as such! It has been a LONG argument in my area with this DM and a local Store manager!
My issue with the store manager started when she wouldn't allow me to use a VV q and a manu q together.....THEN, she wanted to take the $5/$20 q off AFTER all coupons....which she said I could not use because after coupons I was not spending 20.00!

I would have to say NO on this because a VV and an in-ad coupon are BOTH Rite Aid coupons.....you can use 1 RA and 1 Manuf. q per item as far as I understand it! You might want to ask the RA mod about that tho.....but I think I am right on this!
The DM was trying to tell me that because the VV coupons say "Manufacturer" coupon at the top that they could not be used with a regular Manuf coupon even though the VV coupons are coded as a RA coupon!

when product is OOS, i ask for a raincheck - CVS RC never expire

I do, but it is sooo frustrating because I have to drive 1/2hr to get to my only cvs just to have everything out. And then it can take them weeks to get stock in or by the time i get there, someone else with a raincheck has already gotten it....I have been doing cvs on and off for 3 1/2 years. I just get sick and tired of the wasting time that I take a break for a while. But I am actually going to cvs tomorrow and see if I should start back up or not.
