Never heard of that. The only stipulation in their policy regarding printables is they can't be more than $5. It says nothing about color vs b&w.

I would argue this because I bought a B&W printer just for my coupons because it is more cost effective for me! I had a cashier tell me before that if the coupon didn't scan that she couldn't accept it and I had to stand my ground and argue with her because at the time, I was using my inkjet printer and it was printing SUPER dark and the lines in the barcode ran together and it wouldn't scan...the printer was a piece of crap and would print super dark when you changed the cart. even if you adjusted the darkness so it would print lighter...so I made her get the manager and ok it because there was nothing I could do to adjust it to print right! Of course now my laser printer will print crystal clear and I love it!

Absoluty not! I had this happen to me last week got BB due to b/w vv and callled corp over it. It is not stipulated anywhere in their policy, therefore, they cannot use this as a reason to decline accepting a q in b/w. The DM called and verified this with me as well. The only time we need to watch out is when a MQ has a watermark on the q which will not show up in b/w. Go back to your store w copy of policyand some of this info and shove it up there butt!!! LOL

There is one cashier at one of the Merced, California, stores that LOVES this excuse. The manager is good about it though, and even pulled her off the register one day when she was refusing to take my coupons. SHE believes that black and white = photocopied. Hey, IF I Wanted to copy them, I could do it in color as easy as black and white!
DH switched me to his color laser work printer though, and no more issues with having someone override her attitude. But i can't see why they would make those video value coupons with SO much background color!
