Stacking VV Q with a Manufacturer Q

i used same argument at RA the other day "it's not a true manf coupon because i could not take this to another store and redeem it". no go.

My store had no issue with using the video q with a mq. The cashier said the video is a Rite Aid q. She said I could not use the $5 off 20 and a Video q for the Prevacid 24 together because when scanned it said item not found. The manager had her override it but I thought you could use the $5 on any purchase over 20-the q should say it cannot be combined with other Rite Aid q's.
I thought she said that it says limit 1 per purchase (she had the q at that point) and that meant you could not use any other q's with it, and I believe it means you can not use 2 $5 off 20 in 1 purchase.

I emailed corp when I had a question about stacking a VV,in Ad coupon and a man q on one item < the answer is yes btw> . I wanted to have it in writing also. I printed it out and carry it with me.
