She was then, saying loudly, "this is coupon fraud, you cannot use a coupon for more than the product is priced". I am still a newbie and did not want to argue, although I stated that another RA had done it for me the day before. Still insisting this was coupon fraud, she would not shut up to let me ask why they would not just adjust it down. So I told her I did not want to finish this order and I left.
I know their coupon policy says they can adjust down a q to the price of the product. And I know they accept VV's in conjunction with MQ's. (The VV's say 1 per customer, and so I did not want to push that button.) But what is the official RA take on overages? I was worried that if I tested her on the adjusting policy, that she may bust my chops about the fact I would be getting a $7 overage from using these q's. Should I have stood my ground better, or was I actually bending the rules?
My goal scenario was;
2 NB Potassium 595 $4.99 each
1 Quilted Northern 12pk $6.49
$16.47 total
-$4.99 BOGO NB
-2 $1 NB VV
-2 $5 NB IP
Total -.52 oop I grabbed a candy bar
I would greatly appreciate your wisdom!
Thanks!
