That reminds me of people shopping for underarm deodorant.

They will first ascertain if the deodorant is for male or female.

I cannot tell the difference, same thing for razors.

Atlanta based consumer reporter Monsieur Clark Howard (my twin, separated at birth) recently revealed his razor purchasing style ...

Purchase a bag of 15 disposable razors at CostCo.

Make sure you dry them when your are done using them (the water is what shortens its life).

He ends up using two razors per year.

I can't vouch for his no water theory. Without water to soften my beard, my blades would go dull quickly.
I shave in the shower with that hot water beating on my face and the razor glides like silk. I touch up with another razor after the shower.
This method saves on shave cream. I have found the disposables to be better than the fancy 5 blades with moveable head. The head of the razor moves contradictory to the shape of my face and curvatures of my skin. The single blade disposable gives me a closer shave than the 5 blade.
I also use an electric razor for touch up and that saves more shave cream. But, shave cream is supposed to be something couponers usually get free.

I've been using women's razors and anti-persperant since I stared couponing....and no one yet has mistaken me for a woman. I likely have enough razors to last me the rest of my life....seriously. This is mainly because I don't typically use razors that often...I use clippers which give me that everlasting five o'clock (or 24 hour) shadow. I'll break out a razor if I have to go in the office (I work from home) or go out for a nice dinner or something like that. Saves me time, money and keeps me sporting that GQ facial hair shadow.

The Atlanta area ads also left out the Bic Soleil. Not an issue as it allowed me to use my coupons on the Bic Soleil deals at CVS.

The Bic Soleil -$4.00 off coupon was only in the 3 day ad. I did get it in the Friday The Fresno Bee, but also, there were tons of the 3 day ads in the store when you walked in.

I found mine in the Clovis, CA Rite Aid. I took my SIL with me and we got 2!

I had a nice relaxing shop at RA yesterday @ around 4pm. I got all the deals I was looking for and after all Q's and my GC I spent $.99 OOP. I will be getting back $11.50 in SCR for yesterday alone :D
