Default What to do with cooked spaghetti noodles? Please help!

We cooked Spaghetti for 16 people last night and ended up with a ton of leftover noodles and no sauce.

I know I can make some more sauce, but does anyone have any other suggestions for what to do with already cooked spaghetti noodles?

On a side note; do they freeze already cooked? If so, how would I cook them when I pulled them out?

    Reps for any ideas!

I don't freeze them because I tried it and they come out awful. Soggy and gummy, lol

I make baked butter noodles with mine and they love it. Heat the noodles to make it easier to mix these ingredients:
Add butter (margarine, here) with a little milk, salt, and pepper, and add about 2 cups parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 10 minutes in a 350% oven to heat it all up.

I just zap my leftover pasta in the microwave and toss it with butter and lots of parmesean or romano cheese. I also like to add steamed broccoli and/or cauliflower if I have that on hand. Sometimes I toss with Pesto sauce instead of butter.

AFA freezing...my mom does. Sometimes they're mushy when reheated, but thats b/c she overcooked the pasta to begin with!

That sounds good. Do you chop up the spaghetti noodles first?

Here's my brother's best recipie from his college days...

Uncle David Eggs...each time you make it-it's a little bit different

Chop up the noodles and fry up with eggs, and chopped up ham, cheeses, green olives, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, a little milk and butter....and yummy! Really good if you cook the noodles a little bit first and get them just a little crispy. When serving sprinkle some bacon bits over the top...and if your from the South a little bit of ketchup and Tabisco sauce...mmm good!

I was not the original pasta salad poster - but I'll jump in. I would cute up the noodles just so it would make it easier to eat. Also just before serving a sprinkling of bread crumbs and parm cheese is delish on cold pasta salad.

Also for another cold salad - make tuna mac, again typically i make this with smaller pasta shape so cut the noodles a bit, and then add mayo and tuna. that simple!

Finally, just this week I tried a recipe I found in All You, I forget what it was called but it was Asian themed, so cold noodles, diced chicken, asian veggies (just think of what you normally have in chinese food so broccoli, carrot, those white sproutie things, snap peas) and then the dressing was rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, splash of soy, peanut butter (had the blend in the food processor). It was pretty good. It should be on their website.

You could also do homemade hamburger helper and add hamburger, cheese, a can of mushroom soup.

Oh yeah I just remember Pioneer Woman had a recipe for Chicken Spaghetti in her cookbook - check her website for that recipe.

Cut up bacon into 2" pieces and fry. Drain off some of the grease. Add in some cut up cabbage and cook until slightly wilted. Add the spaghetti and cook until noodles are hot.

You can skip the cabbage part but it really is good in there.

Chicken/Turkey tetrazzini (casserole) or skillet (I have some recipes--PM me)
or Spaghetti pie (I've never made this, but I'm sure you could find something on AllRecipes with reviews to make sure it is good)
