If it were me, this is what I'd do. Heat some water in a pot. Add noodles just long enough to get hot and soften - probably under a minute. Drain in colander and put back in pot.

Sprinkle with garlic salt, basil and Parmesan cheese, then pour some olive oil or a mix of olive oil and melted butter over and toss. Carb out.

I have frozen them before and they turn out fine. Just be careful when you reheat them...you can drop them in some hot water just long enough to thaw them out and warm them...not long. Or pop them in the microwave!

Pioneer woman has several recipes on her site using noodles. This salad is delicious and you can use whatever veggies you want in it. My Most Favorite Salad Ever. Ever, Ever, Ever! | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

And I've made some similar to this before and they are good too...asian style Simple Sesame Noodles | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

And I'm going to try this one soon...it's sounds so yummy! Baked Lemon Pasta | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

If you just want to look around through her pasta recipes here's the link Pasta | The Pioneer Woman Cooks | Ree Drummond

There are lots of other sites that I use to get ideas too but she has several pasta dishes that I really enjoy so she popped in my head first.

Not sure if you have ever eaten at Ruby Tuesday's but they have a basil Pesto Pasta Salad....I pulled this from my recipe blog that I maintain.

Ruby Tuesday's Basil Pesto Pasta Salad

My Father has fallen in love with this pasta salad they have on their salad bar. We had asked for the recipe, but unfortunately, they couldn't give us quanities but just gave us the ingredients. So what I did was bought the ingredients then played around until I got the dish to taste like their salad. Dad says it tastes exactly like it so I hope you enjoy!!

    Made Basil Pesto first:

    3 cloves of garlic
4 large sprigs of fresh basil
½ to 1 cup of parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp slivered almonds
Olive oil to make a paste

Combine all ingredients in a food processor till pesto like consistency

    For the pasta:
4.25 oz can of chopped black olives (they were already pre chopped)
2 roasted red peppers (marinated in water only, not pickled in vinegar and not marinated in olive oil), chopped very fine
    1 pkg of feta cheese
1/3 of a Vidalia onion, chopped very finely
7 leaves of fresh spinach chiffonade cut
    Salt and pepper to taste
½ pound of spaghetti, broken into threes before cooking

    For the dressing:

2 tbsp of the basil pesto
    1/2 cup of vegetable oil

Whisk together the vegetable oil and the basil pesto together. Mix together all of the ingredients and pour the dressing over it. Let stand to meld the ingredients together.

My kids love Shrimp spaghetti.. We just toss cooked shrimp in spaghetti - one boy puts ranch dressing on his, and the other boy just sprinkles Parmesan cheese on top. You can also toss in more veggies to make it a little healthier - we sometimes use broccoli or peas or even green beans. Depending on whatever else we have for leftovers, that we know the kids won't turn their noses up at!!

The last time I cooked shrimp scampi, we had some leftover spaghetti in the fridge, and once the shrimp was cooked, I threw some spaghetti into the pan to soak up all that garlicy shrimpy flavor and it was soooo goood..

I love to mix cut up chicken, broccoli and cheese with noodles. I've actually used the cheese packets from macaroni and cheese for this and added some milk and butter.

Use it instead of other noodles for shrimp skampi, alfredo dishes or stir fries.

You can use it to make a fritatta (a noodle omelet).

I also take my leftovers and put about a tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan. I put in enough noodles to cover the bottom of the pan and let them fry up until they are golden brown and crispy (about 2 minutes). Then I put them on top of salads.
