Anyone have a good different pasta salad to share?

I love the bacon ranch suddenly salad but would like to actually make it instead of buying the box. Does anyone have a tried & true pasta salad recipe to share?

This does not have bacon in it but it does have hidden valley ranch in it. Everyone loves it.

Pata salad

Dressing:

1 pkg. hidden valley ranch dry
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 c. oil
Mix in small bowl and set aside.
Cook 1 bag 16 oz. cork screw pasta ( I use wacky mac)
Drain & let cool.

Add:
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/2 c. celery 1/2 c. shopped carrots
1 c. shredded chedar cheese
Add dressing and mix well.

This salad tastes better if it has time to marinate in the dresssing overnight or for a few hours.
