It is called "mypoints.com". You sign up and get like 50 pts immediately. Then you go and answer a bunch of mini-surveys in the 'account' section. I think you get like 10 or 20 pts for each of those you complete. The more you complete, the more likely you are to get more 'clickable' emails. I usually get 3 or 4 a day. Each email is worth 5 pts, usually. Some are worth 10....but you must click on the link at the bottom of the email each time. You only have to click on the link, you don't have to sign up for trial offers. You can do that if you wish and earn more points, but it is not required in order to get the 5 or 10 pts.
Then whenever I make a purchase online, I always check here first to see if it is something I can gain points from just by going thru there site. Some merchants offer 2-10 pts per dollar spent. So I ordered a lot of the kiddos christmas from Lillian Vernon and also earned points at mypoints. Some merchants offer a flat number of points for a transaction. I always order my ink cartridges from 123injets.com and I automatically get 350 pts each time.
When you go to the account section and look at your account transactions, you can see exactly how your points are accumulating.
I do get tons of extra points b/c I have a mypoints credit card.
But I just got my fourth $50 Target GC since July 2006 and third $50 Macy's GC since July. I have been using mypoints since 1999 or 2000 and I have accumulated over 170,000.
