Default Re: Recipe Websites

I always use this: http://www.epicurious.com/

Recipes from Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines. I do an advanced recipe search and sort them by highest fork rating. It's good to see how others have tried and rated the recipes. If they have a low fork rating, I won't bother trying them. I think they're televised too.

Default Re: Recipe Websites

My most favorite recipe website is www.hillbillyhousewife.com She has the best, basic home style type comfort foods and easy instructions that even my "baby" sister-24 y/o can follow. It is kind of funny for those that know how to cook, but there are still great ideas.

She also has emergency low-cost menu plans, and is working on low carb menues.

Also, along the stockpiling theme, there is http://snider.mardox.com/kitchen.html it is for freezer and OAMC ideas. Too bad my freezer is too full to add pre-made meals! LOL

COOK BOOK Re: Recipe Websites

This isn't a fancy 'commercial' site with all the bells & whistles of the big guys ... but ...

My friend Georgia Girl has some WONDERFUL traditional Southern Recipes as well as some 'lightened' recipes on her site. Most are basic 'home cooking' nothing fancy kinds of dishes.

Quick & Easy Recipes, Southern Recipes
