You can use a scrapbook with protective sheets in it. They come in many sizes and there is so much scrapbook stuff you can buy that is not very expensive to make it cute and decorate the pages. You can had write the recipes to make it more personal.
I am giving my cousin a crockpot from her registry at her bridal shower and want to add a personal touch to it. I am an avid crock pot user and love mine and I want to share my favorite recipes as well as some of the ingredients as part of the gift. I'd like to have all of mine and then probably some more tried and true ones from others. Anyway, I am trying to come up with a cute way to give the recipes. Any ideas? I want it to be cute but usable also..
I'd love some suggestions as to how to display, gift, package the recipes!
Thanks for any help...

I would make a bow for the ingredients and place it in the crockpot.

Thanks for the ideas! I just go rid of all my scrapbooking stuff:( I was thinking hand writing them on cute note cards and laminating them and then putting a ring through them. I was looking for a cuter idea though.
Shelleyf - do you mean tie a bow around all the ingredients?

Find some nice recipe cards and holder (they make some that are like photo albums), and send one to each person who is invited to the shower (hopefully the invites haven't gone out yet?). Ask him/her to bring that card (with a favorite recipe written on the card, of course) to the shower.
How many days until summer?
I went to Walmart and bought a 3 ring binder that is pretty print on the outside, some dividers and sheet protectors. I plan on printing out my recipes on "food" print paper (light prints so you can read easily) and place them into the sheet protectors. This way more can be added easily and they can be removed to be used easily!
For wrapping (and my daughter is giving the same thing to a friend of hers for a wedding present in Sept) I would leave the crock pot in the box, but take and wrap the food with ribbons as suggested earlier and then place in the crockpot and wrap the box up. Then with the cookbook, wrap it as well and attach to the top of the box. Two gifts, well actually three for the price of one. She is going to LOVE your gift!
