What are your top 3 favorite kitchen tools / small appliances / gadgets

We all have tools that we like the best in our kitchens - what are yours?

Mine are

1. french rolling pin - gets that pierogie dough just right!
2. silicone wisk - sauce, sauce, sauce!
3. bamboo spoons - these are great for everything and they do not wear as easily as regular wooden spoons.

I have tons of other tools that are amazing, those are just the top three on my list.

ETA: merged my two threads since they were so similar and it's hard to say what's a tool and what's a gadget lol!!!

1. kitchenaid stand mixer - and also the pasta roller attachment
2. my crock pot collection
3. ice cream machine
4. food processor

okay, I'll control myself and stop at 4!

Mine:

1. French Pin....oh where have you been all my life. DH made me one for Christmas and it is absolutely amazing, no flexing, no difficulty getting thin dough, just absolutely amazing.

2. Chefs Knife...absolutely love my awesome knife...only 1 knife we own is amazing and it is this one, someday we will have a nice set of sharp knives that are all equally great, for now this one is my must have.

3. Cast Iron skillet....is that a kitchen tool? Well it is one of my favorites, absolutely love it and wish I had more cast iron cookware.

I couldnt decide if the stand mixer would be a tool or a gadget, so I put mine on my list in the gadget thread that I made lol.

Oh yes, that microplane grater is great! My favorite thing to use it on is parmesan cheese, the super fine shreds are just perfect!

2. Crockpot...ok well both of them, if I had more I would be beyond happy
3. ok well maybe not a gadget....but the food grinder for baby food...this cheap handheld little hand crank thingy that grinds up ANYTHING so that my DD can eat it....absolutely wish I had bought one when my son was a baby.
