Cooking club of America??

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I keep getting these things in the mail from the Cooking club of America.

They want me to join for $12 a year (plus the opportunity to buy books and dvds..of course)...and then I can ...maybe..get to try out new cooking stuff and keep it after doing a review.

Legit?? Worth it??

I have no idea. I got the same thing. They sent a book. I either buy it or send it back and cancel all books. I got a free knife though. Plan on sending the book back though. I paid the $12. then they send it back but you have to send it back to them to be in there whatever better club. I think its similar to like book clubs or music ones where they send you stuff youc an either buy or send it back.

I did it a couple years ago. I bought the lifetime membership for $50, but to them a "life time" is only 2 years, because about 18 months later, I got a bill to renew my lifetime membership.

I didn't. The magazine was ok, but the free gifts were cheap and broke after a few uses.

I'm a lifetime member of the Cooking Club and enjoy my membership. I love the monthly cooking magazines. I have received many test products and majority of them have been great. In over two years, I can only recall one product which I provided negative feedback on the product. I also received a stainless steel cookware set after I paid my lifetime membership fees. I use the set all the time. It has been worth the cost for me. They also offer a website with lots of information. I'd suggest you look over the website to get a better view.
