Great article! I love my crock pot--had to replace mine this year after wearing the last one out.

I got one a couple of years ago and love it! Hubby never thought I'd use it, now he's trying it too LOL!

We bought ours when we got married with GC from family. I don't use it as much as I should, but we do plenty in it when we can.

My mother-in-law just got her new boyfriend into using one and they bought a diabetes cookbook for it so I'm sure I'll start hearing about how I should use mine more, lol.

I love my crock pot - it is so nice to come home from work and have your house smell yummy and only have to make side dishes.

I have three and use them all the time. I saw the article but didn't read it...I will go back and check it out at your suggestion.

    Thanks

I read somewhere that the crockpot only costs 2 cents per hour to run

I use mine for everything, and I've quickly discovered that with a tweak here or there ANY recipe can be adapted to the crockpot! I love mine!

I don't use my crockpot much... I prefer my own Recession Fighting Machine: Scissors!
