These are two favorites around here ...

    http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...choke-dip.html

Even my kids love the Spinach Artichoke dip ... and our friends always expect me to make the Buffalo Chicken dip for every party, cookout, potluck etc. I tried not making it a few times ... figured everyone was getting tired of it :frown: ... and so many of them complained and whinned about not having it that I ALWAYS make it now ... even if I'm making other 'new' stuff.

    I want to make these:

Baked Potato Bites recipe - Every Day with Rachael Ray

    and one of these:

    Hershey's (R) Gridiron Cake - Allrecipes

    haha, the "hugs" are refs!

My other idea (can't remember where I saw it now) was to make a 7-layer dip in a rectangle casserole, and top with guacamole, using sour cream in a piping bag to decorate like a playing field, with olives decorated like footballs on top, and pretzel sticks for the goalposts.

Oh, I LOVE the idea of making the 7 layer dip look like a football field!! :)

I think I could figure out how to do most of what you described... but how do you make pretzel sticks look like goal posts??

I don't have a pic to show you, but you'd just stick one straight down into the dip, then attach one across (like the top of a capital T) and then two more on the ends, like this:

OOOH, and some Home made onion rings! (no, those aren't football-field themed, but they are yummy!)

I guess I missed that part of the recipe.... I would try either some beans or peanut butter, I would just put them on a pan and cover the whole thing in chocolate and let it set, but a big chocolate pretzel may not be appetizing in the middle of your bean dip.
