Anyone?
So I usually just throw in a batch and let the bread maker do the work, but this doesn't work for sandwich bread! Way too dense! So I have been trying a few recipes I found online and all of them have been the same as a bread machine loaf. I need a light, fluffy kinda bread. One that you don't get full on half way through your sandwich. I love the Orowheat 100% Whole Wheat bread. Something just like that would be perfect!
Can anyone help?

I have made some with 1/2 wheat, 1/2 white flour and add dough enhancer. It's pretty light, but don't know if you are interested in using any white flour.
I go half and half too, and have no idea what dough enhancer is.... sounds like something I need to google!!!

I'm sure there are other brands available, but this is just an example.

I have two breadmakers, keep those puppies running a lot. I have used recipes with half wheat/half white bread flour for wheat recipes before. The trouble I have is that the wheat flour needs to go in the freezer to keep it fresh, and my freezer space is always maxed out with bargain shopping.
But since I'm the only one who likes wheat bread in my house, I don't often make it. Sorry I can't help :(

Oroweat is owned by Bimbo Bakeries! That is too funny, what a name!
So I went over to a friends house yesterday to make bread with her and it turned out awesome! She uses a dough enhancer and gluten to make the perfect sandwich bread. It's not as light as store brand 100% wheat breads but it's identical to the wide/short adult loaves of wheat breads. We ate 2/3 of a loaf as soon I brought it home and everyone smelled it!!!
Thanks for everyone's input! Would anyone like my recipe?
Now I just need to find a cheap mixer! My kitchen aid is getting too old to handle so much bread dough!
Would love the recipe thank you!
Also... if I were looking for a new mixer... I would save up for another Kitchenaid lol. I wouldn't trade mine for anything :) Well, except the upgraded model. I have the Artisan right now and would like that one with the really big bowl and that huge honkin dough hook. It would get a lot of use here!
