Biggest hits at our parties always seem to be the pinwheel wraps and bbq meatballs. I just buy the frozen ones, toss them in a crock with bbq sauce, and of course chips and cheese...the guys appreciate having any food and don't need anything fancy!!!! Trust me :)))

Well, a good standby for me has always been little smokies in bbq, smoked brats in bbq, and slow cooker meatballs.

For this year's party, I am doing

    Pulled pork for sandwiches
    Home made baked beans
    cheesy potato bake
    and my italian green beans

I haven't though of any little appetizers or snackies yet.... been having a hard time with that part for some reason this year.

So far this is the menu -
deli meat (ham, turkey) & cheese, pistolettes (mini french bread), cocktail weenies in bbq sauce, maybe some chicken wings. Definately a King Cake and I might make a batch of fudge. One of my relatives is bringing potato salad.

I'm also making Taco Pizza --
    2 pkg. crescent rolls
    16 oz. can refried beans
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tbsp. taco seasoning mix
    6 oz. shredded cheese
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1 c. diced tomato
    1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
    Salsa if desired

Combine sour cream and taco seasonings & refrigerate (overnight if possible, or at least 3-4 hrs before making pizza)

Unroll and press crescent rolls dough crosswise in a 15 x 10 inch cookie sheet. Press to seal perforations. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool. Spread beans over cooled dough. Next add Sour Cream mixture. Add a layer of cheese, followed by green onions, diced tomatoes and ripe olives. Refrigerate.
Optional – add a layer of guacamole &/or salsa
I layer my cookie sheet with aluminum foil first, when its party time, I just slide the pizza off the cookie sheet and use a pizza wheel to cut the pizza into squares.

I love making BBQ meatballs... But normally when I make mine I not only put KC masterpiece bbq sauce in them I also put some Welch's Grape Jelly & serve over mashed potatoes. It's a HIT with our family & friends. Gives the meatballs a little sweet taste to them!
