Seasoned Rice Recipe - Find More Recipes for Roaster Ovens from Hamilton Beach
I cook once a month for a homeless shelter in our town, and I need some help. I plan on 100 - there are specifice rules about those who can eat there (doing hours for court, etc...) and I want to make rice.
I have access to 2 roaster ovens and there has to be a way to cook rice in there so I can have my stove free to do other things.
I serve at 12:15ish and have access to the kitchen at 9:00 - so time is something I have to think about. I also have hot water from the faucet, and can even boil some if I have to, but I would like to just put it all in and forget about it, until it is time to serve.
I have searched online, but I am not the best at that and really could use some help. So I am hoping and praying that someone can give me some help.
I would take a link to directions online, or your personal experience.
I don't have to make it for the month of May, but I was thinking about doning a Mexican theme meal. I usually just make mexican rice at home, but putting a package of taco seasoning in my rice and go from there.
I would appreciate any advice you have.
Thanks
If this needs to be moved, I am fine with that.
