I also purchased Pert Plus Botanicals for $3.19 and used my $3Q on it. The bottle had the yellow peelie for "try me free" after mail in rebate. My Shopko form specifically states "original receipt, duplicates are not accectable" while the Pert Rebate simply states "dated store identified cash register receipt". Can I photocopy the receipt for the Pert rebate? This is my first stab at rebates. I thinking now that I should have done multiple transactions to get original receipts for both items.
    While it is probably too late for you this time, here is what I would do. No, I would't copy it. Instead, I would take the item back to CS at the store, explain that you needed a seperate receipt and ask for them to return it and rering it for you. Most that I've done are pretty understanding when I do this, though it helps if they are not very busy at the time.

    Or if there is a phone number on the rebate, call it to ask. If they will accept a copy, then that just saved you a bit of time.

    This is my first month doing rebates in YEARS, and I ran across this twice this month.

    If the rebate is limit TWO per household, is it okay to send both in the same envelope? For instance, I had the peel-off rebate on Rice Krispies with Strawberries this month - refund purchase price, limit two refunds per household. I filled out the two forms, I enclosed the two separate receipts with prices circled like they asked, and put all four pieces of paper into ONE business envelope to send it in.

    I know it's too late for this particular rebate if this is wrong, but what's the general consensus on this? Was one envelope okay, or should each have received their own envelope and stamp?

    Unless it states on the rebate that they are to be sent in seperate envelopes it is ok to put them both in the same envelope, however I have always done it in seperate envelopes, to make sure they didnt get mixed up and some how turned into one.. Just the way i have always done them. However if you make sure to seperate the two rebate forms and paperclip everything that goes with each one, they would have no issue with it. With the price of stamps these days it makes sense to do them in the same envelope. Thats a good question! :)

    Because of extensive use of coupons (hooray for HCW!), I sometimes end up with a total on my receipt that is less than the purchase price of the item. Will the mfr. still refund me the whole purchase price amount?

    For example,
    Yesterday, I bought Hillshire Farms sandwich meat which had a TMF up to 3.99 on it. The purchase price was 3.99, but the total on my receipt (after great sales and coupons for 32 other items) was only 22 cents. Will they still give me the 3.99 rebate or will it be a waste of a stamp to send it? Thanks for the help!
    Check out my have and wish lists!

    I can't speak for every manufacturer, but when I did the TMF MIR for rice krispies with strawberries, I got them on sale at Rite Aid for $1.99 and used $1/1 coupons for both boxes. Sent in two rebates with two receipts - each saying I spent a total of $.99 on my order, and I got the full $3.98 back.

    HTH =)

    I would say each mfr makes their own rules on this one! I always try to have enough on the crt to get the full amount.

    Can anyone tell me where the best place is to find rebates? I always cilp the ones in the Sunday newspapers and I print as many of the printables that I think we will use but I know there are TONS of other rebate forms out there because I see people trading them. I never seem to manage to trade for them so I am wondering where they are coming from.

    Is it worth it to sign up for something like Refund Cents? Will that help me find them? Or how else should I be finding them?
