I'm interested in doing some beer/alcohol rebates. It seems that it would be a big task if UPC's must be sent in. Is this typical and/or how lenient are the companies if I didn't include UPC's?
By the way, I'm in a state (Arkansas) which I don't have to buy alcohol for rebates. Thanks.

LUCKY STATES Questions
ok - to start off I am in Arkansas ... a lucky state!
I know about the NBPR rebates (I do lots of them) ... but I saw something the other day on a rebate that I need help understand.
I don't remember now what the exact rebate was for ... so this is just an example:
$5/$10 Meat w/p of 12-pack of beer - Valid in (long list of states and AR was one of them) - NBPR (a few states and AR was NOT one of them)...
so my question is:
If I live in a Lucky State (like I do) and a rebate is valid for my state BUT it does not say NBPR for my state do I or do I not have to buy the beer to do the rebate?
I would really, really like to know about this cuz there are lots more rebates I should be doing if I do not have buy the beer on rebates like that - ya know...
if anyone knows or has any thought about this please let me/us know - thanks!!
I'd call the 1-800 number on the back of the form and check. Sometimes they are just misprinted, and you don't have to do the beer purchase, but better to know for sure up front instead of getting rejected.

Okay, I just started getting into the whole rebate thing about (3) months ago and now I have my whole family doing the same ...
I have a bunch of questions maybe someone can help. I just ask you only answer if youre 100% sure I don't want to give the wrong advice ...
(1) With the $20.00 Turkey/Ham rebates floating around ... Lets say I earned enough at my local supermarket to get a turkey for free, can I still get the rebate for it as well?
(2) Save I have (2) coupons for Chips for free and have a rebate that states spend $5.01 on chips and get $5.00 back, can I still get the rebate even though the receipt will show I used a coupon and got them for free?
(3) Save I bought items for a rebate at CVS and used ECB's, and the final cost of item/s OOP is $0 because I used ECB's for everything, Can I still get the rebate?
(4) Save a rebate requires a UPC off a Dip for example and its impossible to peel that upc off, what do I do???
(5) Can the payment method i.e. credit / debit card be blacked off a receipt and still qualify for the rebate? Usually they say circle qualifing purchases so im not sure how theyde feel about a marker crossing things out, do anyone know for sure?
(6) Could a Family First card be used to make a purchase NBPR of course for a rebate and still qualify for the rebate.
and lastly,
(7) On rebates that say BPR in states X, XX, XXX but the rebate doesnt state only valid for states X, XX, XXX, does that mean all other states are NBPR? i.e. being the redhook rebates ...
Thanks all for the help ...
Joe
As long as there is a price on the receipt that you can circle where the Turkey/Ham shows at more than $20, absoluitely.
Absolutely. Just be sure there is more than $5.00 to circle. I do this all the time.
If you're talking beer rebates, you'll be fine. If you are talking specific product rebates, sometimes individuals have not gotten reimbursed.
Generally, Beer rebates only require UPCs for the beer. If you're in a NBPR state, you don't need to include them. (Corona is an exception and requires you to write it down.) If you need to include the dip UPC just write it on the receipt with an explination and you'll be fine. I've put notes before and not included the UPC and never had a problem.
As you long as you don't black out the information they are requesting, you are fine. It won't be a problem.
I'm not sure what a family first card is. Is it like food stamps? I've used receipts purchased with food stamps and never had a problem.
The Kona/Redhook/Widmer rebates are worded funny, but yes, the other states are NBPR. A couple of oddball things with this company. The receipt must be from a NBPR state as well. Also, if you are sending in multiple rebates, make sure your family members fill out their own forms. This company analyses hand writing.
Isn't NBPR rebating fun?

Has anyone had experience sending in nuts receipts for Budweiser salty snacks?

I have sent in Blue Diamond Almond (salted) receipts many times for Bud Rebates, and so far I have not had any rejections.
Hope that helps!![]()
