I'm doing the coors rebate that includes salty snacks & meat. I bought 12 cans of pringles at Wags last week for .99 each, but I used the $1/2 coupons on them. I bought other stuff too, so should I just circle the .99 prices and ignore the coupons at the bottom of the receipt? I also, use a RR, so my total was $16.xx after all was said and done. TIA for any help....still a newbie to rebates.

I've never done a beer rebate before because I find them to be very vague about what to buy. I'd hate to spend $30 and have my rebate denied because I didnt buy the right items. What items are typically considered "meat" for beer rebates? Just fresh meat like ground beef and steaks? Fresh chicken? Frozen chicken or fish like Tyson or Van de Kamps? Hot dogs? Lunch meat? Cans of tuna?

Yes. Not sure about tuna/fish. Everything else should not give you issues.

Beer rebates seem to be very generous with their definitions. Check out the discussion section of Gimme My Money Back - I tried to corral posts of these definitions into a FAQ.

Default General Rebate Questions

I have a question. When you submit your rebates, do you tape the form and the receipt/UPCs to a larger piece of paper, or staple them together, or how do you address that? I have put them in the same envelope, but often will just tape the UPC to a card or piece of paper with my name on it. I am concerned though, now that I am doing more of these, that there will be a problem.

I am scanning all my rebates now, although I have not had a problem yet, I am thinking I might one day. I have a question about scans--do you make sure that everything is perfectly legible? Sometimes the forms come out really light on my scanner--they are still readable but not as good as the original.

Also, do you have a threshold of pain as far as rebates go? What I mean is, a maximum value of rebates that you are willing to "wait for" based on finances, etc.? Right now, I have about $90 plus dollars in unreceived rebates. I am just wondering if I should have paced myself?? Thanks for your input!

I staple all my stuff together and then put it in the envelope. I have a spiral bound notebook that I log my rebates in. I do not have a threshold as I only do rebates on stuff that I would typically buy anyways (often using rebates I already have).

Quick question - saw it asked before but no answer given.

Can I buy rebate items with food stamps and still get the rebate?

General question:

For the $25/$50 grocery MIRs, does it have to be $50 AFTER all sales/coupons/discounts?
