How Do You "Cash" Your Rebate Check?

I'm usually praying that the mailman arrives with a check or two...then I cash it at the credit union and use it at the grocery store. This week, I had $22 in checks to spend there. Without them, I probably would have skipped the store until next week.

i usually just cash them and they are either extra funding for coupon events or just for mommy money. heck i worked so hard to do them, why not use the money for me sometimes(mommy guilt aside).

but now i am cashing them and using the money to purchase gift cards for vacation. that way the cash isn't on hand to tempt me into using it for something else, and i will have that "money" already put aside for vacation. just started doing this this month, when our vacation destination was finalized and paid for. already have nearly $100 in gift cards put away for fast food, groceries(I cook on vacation to save money), and this n that
