    Default Inmar Lost Rebate

    Has anyone ever had a company lose a rebate? I've had plenty of rejections to deal with, but never had a company outright say they didn't get the rebate.

    Inmar said they didn't get my Dos Equis HUSA8301. I didn't find out until now, way past the deadline and they said that I can't submit a copy after the deadline.

    I can't help but feel my rebate is there, just misfiled somehow. I asked her to search on my address, since they've probably spelled my name a dozen ways. She said she searched on my address and only found the rebates that have already been paid on.

    Any one found any solutions?

    Yes, you really oughta' call 'em back & ask for a supervisor. That's just wrong.

    Fact: 99.9999% of submitted rebates will be past the deadline by the time they've waited out the 6-8 weeks to get a check. UGH! I can't believe she said that. Who sends a rebate in so early that they have 8 weeks to wait on a check & still have time to beat the deadline with a photocopy? I mean seriously?

    I have one from them that is way past the 8 weeks but still not showing up. They said they have no record of it but I need to wait 12 weeks. Very frustrating because it's one for $20!

    I have heard from a few people that not only are CMS/INMAR saying that a person has exceeded their "lifetime limit" on the amount of rebates that they can receive, this is one of the excuses. Now people are saying that the rebates are not even being entered into the system and that when you call and ask about a certain rebate, they say it was never received. This is not just one or two people, but many people who have contacted me after I was denied my 3/$50.00 rebates from DIAGEO and started asking around for others who have been having a problem with CMS. CMS/INMAR seems to have a habit of finding excuses for not paying. Another favorite of theres is "birthdate not given". They will gladly take the information over the phone, but how many people do not call and give the correct information ? I started keeping a copy of ALL of my rebates and crt's because I knew that I may forget to put a date of birth on a form once in a while, but not on 75% of the forms. Sure enough, I received rejection notices on 2 or 3 because of DOB missing....well I had a copy and on my copy....there it was, as big as day !

    I honestly do not know what is going on with this company, but it seems like if the POST MASTER GERERAL can go after people for fraud if they are dishonest in doing offers, than why aren't they doing something about this company ? Does it not work both ways ?

    You hear all the stories about people doing rebates two or three times, and how they are convicted of fraud.... so why can clearing houses be defrauding people and get away with it ?

    They had my zip code wrong for about 15+ of my rebates. Had a zero instead of an 8. They also say they can't find one of my Dos Equis -- offer HUSA8213. I called and sent a followup email of my scans of everything I sent but still no check...

    After I went through faxing the copy in on this, they still denied it because "it was past the dates of the rebate". Well, DUH!
